Why oak?
Oak has been the favoured building timber for architects, designers and boat
builders for years. Not only are many of our stately homes built with oak
frames, oak was also the backbone of our naval power. In fact the new forest
in Hampshire was specifically nurtured to grow oak trees that would be
felled by future generations for our warships.
Oak is considered the King of woods and is often referred to as ‘Royal Oak’
Unlike many of the cheap substitutes brought in from other continents, oak
will last for centuries.
Oak is a beautiful wood and is used extensively for upscale kitchens,
floorboards and staircases.
An
oak sunroom will not only compliment your home , but also provide much
pleasure for years.
